Federal polytechnic bida rector speaks on the ongoing strike.
The federal polytechnic bida rector breaks silence on the on going strike, the on going strike in the school had been said to have lasted for two months now.
Source confirmed it that the ongoing strike was resulted as a result of the present rector not been able to make payments of the shortfalls on the polytechnic.
The polytechnic rector on a closed door meeting with some member ensured all students that the situation will be taken care of.

According the statement made by the Rector,some of them were recorded were “The Rector Dr. Abubakar A Dzukogi on behalf of the management expresses serious concern over the pains our students are passing as a result of the ongoing strike embarked by the academic staff union of polytechnics(asup-BD),the federal polytechnic branch.
Consequently the Rector wishes to thanks the student union leadership and entire student of federal polytechnic bida for their patience and maturity over the situation.the management is therefore soliciting for a continuation understanding of the situation by students, as issues that led to the industrious action is been attended to and lectures will begin in a couple of days”.

Informant told joengine that students were been allocated with different activities going on in the school.
But this do not stop the fact that student are been depressed and frustrated as other schools are about rounding up their academic section.

Reporter told joengine that the Rector and he’s board members are trying everything possible to see that the strike ends soon.
